Kumi will turn 3 in February and looking at these photos we know we've made the right decision to breed at 3 years old not 2 years, over the past year Kumi has really matured, both physically and mentally. If it was at all possible she has got more beautiful!

On Monday Carole had the day off so we got together at our local park for some training fun. Carole is preparing Kumi, and her border collie Kookie, for the up and coming competition season. For Kumi this meant working on Send Aways, where the handler sends the dog to a marker point in the distance, once the dog gets there it has to lay down quickly. A Recall, where the dog is left in a down and then expected to run into the heel position while the handler is moving and Scent work where the dog has to select a cloth with the handlers scent on out of a line of other non scented cloths and it is all going really well. Hopefully Kumi will do well and win her A classes this year. Here are some photos of the beautiful girl and her canine family. Those of you who have met us and played ringy will probably have seen Kumi do this but its always hilarious! It looks a bit like her halo has slipped haha
I thought you'd all love to see a picture of Kumi with all of her rosettes and trophies from last years competition season. Doesn't she look proud?! being gorgeous is hard work though, bless her In other news this weekend myself and Carole measured up for a whelping box, we're both getting very excited as the time for puppies grows closer! Next month Kumi will be taking part in her first competition of 2015, hopefully she will do as well this year as she did last year as Carole would like for her to move up to the next class before her puppies are born. She certainly has it in her to do so!
We will also be applying for an affix soon so keep your eyes peeled, this name will be part of your puppies official name! Our waiting list is always growing, if you're considering getting in touch with us then please do! We'd love to hear from you :) |
