We haven't weighed the puppies since they were 5 weeks old as they have been too big for us to weigh at home. There will be some difference between our scales and the ones at the vets but the weights we have been given aren't far off what I'd expect looking back at their previous progress. Soooo, the weights are as follows....
Kandi
5 weeks old - 2kg 970g (a gain of 585g from 4 weeks old)
7 weeks and 4 days old - 4kg 700g (a gain of 1kg 730g)
Sammy
5 weeks old - 3kg 345g (a gain of 783g from 4 weeks old)
7 weeks and 4 days old - 5kg 500g (a gain of 2kg 115g)
Izzy
5 weeks old - 2kg 880g (a gain of 670g from 4 weeks old)
7 weeks and 4 days old - 4kg 700g (a gain of 1kg 820g)
Pippin
5 weeks old - 3kg 740g (a gain of 1kg 47g from 4 weeks old)
7 weeks and 4 days old - 6kg 140g (a gain of 2kg 400g)
Ruari
5 weeks old - 3kg 775g (a gain of 1kg 53g from 4 weeks old)
7 weeks and 4 days old - 6kg 200g (a gain of 2kg 425g)
So Ruari is still maintaining his lead as heaviest puppy and the two girls have evened out. The puppies will need worming once you get them home and will also need their vaccinations at some point but we advise you visit your vet within 72hrs for a quick check up so you can have a chat with them about it then.
